BaruTulis.com, KAIMANA – Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (UPTD PPA) Kabupaten Kaimana telah resmi didirikan per Januari 2025.
Plt Kepala UPTD Wanda Elvira Sony, S.Sos. M.M mengatakan UPTD PPA bernaung di bawah Dinas PPA.
“UPTD PPA didirikan mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri (Permen) PPA Nomor 4 Tahun 2018 Tentang Pedoman Pembentukan UPTD PPA,” ujar Wanda Elvira Sony yang juga merupakan Sekretaris Dinas PPA Kabupaten Kaimana di Ruangan Kerjanya, Rabu (7/5/2025).
Lebih lanjut, Wanda Sony menjelaskan UPTD PPA mempunyai peran penting terutama bagi perempuan dan anak korban kekerasan, pelecehan, diskriminasi dan lain sebagainya.
“Saya berharap ketika terjadi Kekerasan, pelecehan atau kasus lainnya tehadap perempuan dan anak, bisa langsung datang melapor di UPTD PPA yang saat ini masih berkantor di Dinas PPA atau bisa menghubungi melalui nomor WhatsApp layanan UPTD PPA 081190094132,” tandasnya. (GER)
